Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

• obtain a detailed and comprehensive picture of international trade concepts related to classical international trade theory, trade policy, protectionist instruments, the institutional framework for international exchange, economic integration in Europe, and trade policy in developing countries
• describe and analyze the measures and forms of Agricultural Policy implemented in the EU, the impact of these measures, the New Common Agricultural Policy, and its relationship with international trade
